Before talking about Egypt I'd like to introduce myself :-
My name is Ahmed Saeed; I graduated from tourism & hotels faculty, El Minia University. Then I did study in Alexandria university history (and the ancient Egyptians beliefs). and believe me before that I hated history , but after that I felt that, I belong to these people , and I'm one of them so I started to travel back in history , and there I met the pharaohs , the nobles even the workers , and I saw how they were able to do what they wanted. the ancient Egyptians had beliefs and they did believe in it ,in a very strong way , especially the things which belong to the afterlife and the morality , the life which they will enjoy forever , and to make that to happen they had to save the five elements ,, which will let them enjoy this life:-
1. The body (Khet).
2. The spirit (Ba).
3. The hidden power (Ka).
4. The heart (Ib).
5. The name (Shin Rin).
so they did all what we can see as( pyramids , tombs , mortuary temples , to help them to rebirth again ,and if the one lost one of these elements he can't enjoy his after life , especially the kings , because the kings ,they will be the leaders of the others in the afterlife , and that explains to us why the workers did everything in a very good way , because these works weren't only for the kings , it was for the kings and themselves in an indirect way .and that also proves that the ideas which the people say about the slaves, is wrong.
The workers did their best to make something great for the kings so he can enjoy his afterlife and they can join him this life.
So, what you will see in Egypt is not just stones, it is a great history, civilization & cultures.they were perfect in everything ( engineering , agriculture, art , medicine , creations and astronomy )
